Quality Promise
From ancient Yemeni highlands to your warehouse — every step of our process is designed to deliver uncompromised quality.
Our Process
We partner only with farms in Yemen's legendary growing regions — Haraz, Matari, Bura'i, and Ismaili highlands above 1,500m elevation.
All our coffee is hand-picked during peak ripeness. No mechanical harvesting — ensuring only the finest cherries are selected.
Traditional sun-drying on raised beds for 2-4 weeks. Yemen's dry mountain climate creates the complex flavors the world loves.
Every batch is tested for moisture content (max 12%), screen size, defect count, and cupped for quality score (minimum 80 SCA points).
Packed in grain-pro or jute bags with vacuum-sealed options. Clearly labeled with origin, processing method, and harvest date.
Final quality check and phytosanitary inspection before every shipment. Certificate of origin and quality docs included.

Every export lot undergoes standard SCA cupping protocols to score aroma, body, acidity, and balance — ensuring only 80+ specialty grade lots are selected.

Raw green beans are hand-sorted and tested with digital moisture meters (strictly below 12%) and screen sieves for uniform bean density and export freshness.
Certifications
We are transparent about our current certifications and our roadmap to achieving international standards.
Official plant health certificate required for all agricultural exports from Yemen.
Verifies Yemeni origin for customs and tariff purposes. Issued by Yemeni Trade Authority.
In process — expected certification by Q2 2025. Our farms already practice organic methods.
FDA food facility registration in progress for direct US market access.
Food safety management certification planned for 2025 to meet global standards.
Fair trade certification planned to formally recognize our farmer-first business model.
Sustainability
Yemen's ancient coffee farming traditions are inherently sustainable. Our farmers use no artificial pesticides, rely on natural rainfall, and compost coffee pulp back into the soil.
We pay fair prices to farmers — often 20-30% above market rate — ensuring that growing coffee remains economically viable for Yemeni families.
